Building on the basics in our first session, we’ll take a close look at two texts from smaller publishers. The Brazilian graphic by Gabriel Fa and Fabio Moon uses magical realist tools to examine and resist the death inflicted by colonial violence, while Roye Okope’s historical fantasy series pushes us to reconsider our assumptions about African spaces.
