Andrew M. Jackson is a Denver-based writer and graphic designer. He is the creator and writer of Halfworld: The New Pioneers, a cyberpunk-romance comic book that is set on a devastated planet earth.
Apotheosis Studios is the indie studio responsible for The Last Amazon, a post-apocalyptic, superhero graphic novel. They have also released the fantasy/sci-fi novel, Rune of the Apprentice, and Shadow of the Moon, an illustrated novella and top-down roguelike action-adventure RPG.
Jim Rinehart was born in Newton, Kansas in 1978 and he grew up in Walton, a small rural Kansas town. He comes from an artistic family and was introduced to art at an early age. His grandmother was an oil painter and taught Jim how to paint.
He attended college in Emporia, Kansas and majored in Art. He studied a variety of artistic disciplines including Printmaking, Glassblowing, Life Drawing, Painting and Graphic Design. He resided in Wichita, Kansas for 11 years and then moved to Aurora, Colorado to pursue his career as a professional Artist. His artistic focus was mainly on illustration.
After moving to Colorado, Jim decided to try a new medium that was different from traditional painting or drawing. This new medium consisted of cutting designs out of paper using an Exacto knife and gluing them together. He enjoys comedy immensely and humor plays a large theme in his artwork. His artistic influences include Jeremy Fish, Jim Lee, Akira Toriyama, Robert L. Williams and Milton Glaser.

Jesse Bonifazi is a freelance cartoonist/illustrator. He also specializes in making custom action figures for kids and adult collectors. Jesse currently teaches a weekly cartooning class at the Fort Collins Senior Center.
Casey has had a laser at Fort Collins Comic Con since the first year it has opened. He is passionate about laser engravers and shows up just to show off what they can do. This is a hobby for him and not a business.
Chad Blakely is here to do two things, make comics and crack wise about
comics. Either way, it’s all about comics. In addition to collaborating
with Todd Jones on some projects, Chad has also created such comics as

Crystal McDowell, a Colorado native, has been illustrating most of her life. She enjoys connecting with others through her art from a mutual love of fantasy, anime, and video games. When she isn’t creating artwork and comics, she also bakes, gardens, reads, and homebrews. She enjoys telling comic stories, especially from her own original series, Brews & Bruises, about two best friends exploring dungeons and brewing magical beer together! Crystal Sully is a monster maker in the gaming industry who thrives within the realm of the untamed. She graduated from Rocky Mountain College of Art Design with a bachelor’s degree in fine art and she currently does creature art within the gaming, film and publishing industries when she’s not busy taming dragons. Popular properties she has worked on include Elder Scrolls, Pathfinder, Paladins, The Dragon Lords: False Idols, Heroes of Newerth, Call of Cthulhu, Lord of the Rings TCG, Dragon Age, Orcs Must Die!, The Gods War, Escape the Night via Youtube Red, and now her very own project that took Kickstarter by storm earlier this year called The Untamed Beastiary: A Field Guide to Marvelous Monsters.

Felipe Echevarria is an American artist working in triple arenas of fine art, illustration, and comics & graphic novels. His best known works so far are the watercolor comics adaptation of the Hitchcock film PSYCHO, and the underground Sandman Death paintings collection entitled ANKH.
In the works are three highly original ventures: KLOON, a colorfully illustrated coming-of-age drama told during the Turn of the Century Paris circus scene; DEATH FROM ABOVE, a hand-painted graphic novel revealing the true spiritual nature of the issue of death; and DIAMOND STUDDED FACE CAGE, an intense telling of a white-clothed model who sends a boring 1990’s fashion show into a frenzy with a diamond-studded cage locked onto her face. Years ago, Abrahm Akin (under the name Kill-Or), fought with Keldor against the tyranny of King Randor. At the battle of Grayskull, Keldor was horribly disfigured and Abe was exiled to a forgotten dimension. As the years of his exile pass, Abe works tirelessly to harness the powers of transdimensional magic so that he can return to Eternia to avenge his fallen commander. However, harnessing the powers of transdimensional magic is a long and tedious process so he bides his time by writing and illustrating comic books.
G.Kaaihue is both a traditional and digital artist. He is an illustrator, comic book artist and graphic designer.
Jessica “i3napaints” Alexander is a digital and traditional artist and illustrator from the Denver area. She creates fanart and original works and is also a comic artist for her own original free to read comic coming soon in 2019 called “Impish.”

Jeff Herndon is a freelance illustrator living in Fort Collins, Colorado. He has illustrated book covers for such authors as Kevin J. Anderson, Mike Baron and J.T. Krul. Drawing inspiration from the movies he loved as a child and his healthy respect for illustrators of the golden age, he marries imagination and skill with every mark. He devotes his time to a variety of projects. Whether it’s conceptual design, book cover illustration or portraiture above all things, Jeff loves to tell stories with his art.
Jeff Slemons loves to draw and has been an illustrator for 30+ years. He has illustrated images for all types of clients over the years. Of those jobs, many have been of the comic book/graphic novel variety. Which would make sense because he loves comic books so much. He is currently working on several graphic novel projects and recently just finished working on a children’s book called “Bentley Goes to School”.
Joseph Arnold is a freelance artist from northern Colorado. He has a bachelor’s degree from the Art Institute of Colorado and has illustrated for numerous comic and animation projects. He served in the 82nd airborne division with two combat deployments and is currently in training for POST certification. A fan of martial arts practicing jujitsu and competing in kickboxing fights, he appreciates his heroes without spandex and reality-based problems.
Karliquin’s Game Knight is a family-owned game and hobby shop. They are an eclectic couple who like to buy and sell figures, games, and other fun stuff!
Ken Kokoszka is a fine artist and illustrator from Arvada, Colorado. Ken studied Digital Art at the Metropolitan University of Denver, graduating in 2013. Since that time Ken has been a regular in the Colorado convention scene and has worked as a freelance illustrator, primarily providing art for independent role-playing game publishers and direct commissions to gamers.
In his personal work, he often explores themes that can be summed up as “heroes, monsters, and mythology.” Ken has multiple ongoing series of independent work that concentrates on Norse mythology, icons of the horror genre, and scientific illustration such as reconstructions of dinosaurs.

Laurissa Hughes has been drawing since she was knee-high to a grasshopper. A love of storytelling became a passion for Storyboarding and Comics, and she received a degree in Animation. She currently works as a freelance artist in Colorado, doing storyboards, comics, illustration, and animation. Laurissa also enjoys snowboarding, playing the clarinet, learning foreign languages, and watching lots of British television.

Monica Yoknis is the author of Fear and Terror Stalk the Museum, the first novel in her Shamanic Mysteries series of Paranormal Thrillers. She also writes a Young Adult detective series of short stories and novels. Monica is a member of Northern Colorado Writers and serves on the Development Team of Bunnyzine, an eMagazine for house rabbit owners. She started Peacock Book Designs to help other authors navigate the technical side of the self-publishing world. Monica lives in a cabin on the Colorado prairie, where she writes, crochets, reads mystery and thriller novels, and takes care of her rescue bunny.

Odyssey Writing Workshop and the author of *The Ronin Trilogy*, *The Wild
Boys,* *Rogues of the Black Fury,*, and co-author of *Death Wind, *plus
short fiction pieces in anthologies and magazines such as *Apex Magazine,
Alembical, *the *Fiction River *anthology series*, Historical Lovecraft, *and
Cemetery Dance’s *Shivers VII. *As a freelance writer, he has produced a
metric ton of role-playing game work both in print and online, including
the *Firefly Roleplaying Game, Battletech, Legend of Five Rings, d20
System, *, and the MMORPG, EVE Online.
He enjoys cycling, martial arts, torturing young minds with otherworldly
ideas, and monsters of every flavor, especially those with a soft, creamy
center. He has three long-cherished dreams: a produced screenplay, a NYT
best-seller, and a seat in the World Series of Poker.

Geek Girl Brunch Fort Collins is a community of geeky girls who get together every other month to have geeky themed brunches (18+), where we play geeky games and activities and win geeky prizes. We have been a staple of geek girls in Fort Collins for almost 3 years and have worked hard to build a safe space for women to be their authentic selves. Identifying women, which includes transgender women, gender fluid, non-binary people, and intersex women are welcome at our events, as long as they are comfortable with being a “geek girl”. It is free to be a member of Geek Girl Brunch – the only financial obligations are to pay for your own brunch food and drink. In addition to our 18+ brunches, we also offer co-ed all-ages events to bring together the geek community in service and support of geeky women.
