Kessel Runners 2019
Are you ready to run!? Catch all the details on what to expect below!

This Tuesday’s practice run takes off at 5:30PM

We'll be practicing our pacing and breathing Tuesday at 5:30 PM! We'll be on the same teams as last time - we'll do a quick warm-up and then head out!

Where: Meet at the Spring Creek Trail behind Dungeons & Drafts. Parking is also available at The Fort Collins Club just east of D&D.

Where: Meet in front of Snack Attack and run east on Spring Creek Trail before turning around just past the Bridge on Stuart Street.

Course: We're going WEST this time to the Stover Street bridge (total distance: 1.25 miles - run for 60 seconds, walk for 90 seconds - plan on about 20 minutes with a 5-minute warm-up).

Check In: Stop at the registration table so we can check you in.

Weather: We’ll have a mild evening in the low 50's, but since this is Colorado, check the forecast 15 minutes before you head out and dress appropriately - since it might be getting dark, make sure to have something reflective on!

What to Wear: Breathable, sweat wicking fabrics such as polyester are preferable. Loose clothing that you can easily breathe in is best. Layers are key! You will be able to leave your jackets and water bottles at the check-in table so feel free to come bundled up.
Shoes: Wear comfortable running shoes (no, Chucks and Vans are not appropriate footwear) that are already broken in. If you have new shoes, break them in today with a walk! We don't want any new shoes slowing you down with blistered heels!

Course Rules: The trails are public and popular. There will be bikes, skateboards, and dogs coming and going around you. Be courteous and safe by taking up no more than half of the trail. Passing bikes may ring a bell or yell "On your left!" when passing. Take a moment to make sure you’re in your lane.
Stay aware of your surroundings, and leave your headphones at home.

The pace groups will be leaving with 30-second intervals from slowest to fastest pace in order to reduce congestion on the bike path.

Course Elements: None, this time - it's a practice run!

Your Mission: Have fun, practice your pacing and breathing!

After the run, join us at Dungeons and Drafts to talk Nutrition and then Straightline Fitness for Foamrolling!

Bonus Level!
