Don't want to make you all Misty-eyed, but we May-be almost through this Kessel Runners season! We've been working to be the very best runners, like no one ever was, traveling across the land - each step to understand our power that's inside.

Something is afoot in Ryme City - there have been rumors of a top-secret new bridge that doesn't appear on satellite scans. Detective Pikachu is on the case but knows he'll need the help of the Kessel Runners to solve this puzzle.

Where? We'll be meeting near the Northside Aztlan Community Center on the East side of the building across from the playground. Keep an eye out for the Kessel Runners banner!

Course: With Pikachu leading the way, we'll run eastbound out to the location of this new bridge (near the Mulberry/Lemay intersection). Our segments: run 10, walk 3, run 5, walk 3, repeating until finished. Plan on about 35 minutes for the run and join us for some

Check-In: Stop at the registration table so we can check you in and tally up your points!

Weather: We’ll have a mostly cloudy morning in the high 50's, but since this is Colorado, check the forecast 15 minutes before you head out.

What to Wear: Breathable, sweat-wicking fabrics such as polyester are preferable. Loose clothing that you can easily breathe in is best. Layers are key! You will be able to leave your jackets and water bottles at the check-in table so feel free to arrive bundled up.

Shoes: Wear comfortable running shoes (no, Chucks and Vans are not appropriate footwear) that are already broken in. If you have new shoes, break them in today with a walk! We don't want any new shoes slowing you down with blistered heels!

Course Rules: The trails are public and popular. There will be bikes, skateboards, and dogs coming and going around you. Be courteous and safe by taking up no more than half of the trail. Passing bikes may ring a bell or yell "On your left!" when passing. Take a moment to make sure you’re in your lane. Stay aware of your surroundings, and leave your headphones at home.

Course Elements: Rumor has it Team Rocket may already be on-site investigating this occurrence, and in the process stumbled upon our stash of Kessel Buttons. We may have to prepare for trouble and make it double to answer their riddles as a team after the run and re-claim our missing buttons!

***Don't forget to bring water with you on course! Hydrate or dydrate!***

YogaPod will have some mats for us to use, but please bring your own if you have one. (Your first mat rental is free.)

Bring a water bottle, comfortable clothes you can move in, and an open mind. There are also showers at the studio if anyone needs to use those.

About the Class:
podBASICS provides tools and techniques necessary to build a safe and sustainable yoga practice and offers an opportunity for beginners to create a solid foundation. The class moves at a slow pace, allowing students time to explore alignment and fundamental aspects of the postures. Instruction and demonstration of proper body mechanics are provided as well as how to utilize props for support.

About the Instructor:
Kristen is an E-RYT 500, primarily teaching Vinyasa yoga since 2009 and was initially attracted to this discipline due to the connection of breath with the movement of the body. Her strengths as an instructor include being able to teach clarity of asanas (poses) within any size class, offering different modifications/intensifications for different levels of practitioners, and educating students on postural alignment with an intention to never make yoga appear intimidating. She places emphasis on making an individual's yoga practice one's own and encourages students to take their practice to a level in which they feel safe, yet challenged.
