Fort Collins Comic Con Badges Go On Sale at 7PM on 7/7 – What You Need To Know

Fort Collins Comic Con is rapidly approaching!

Here are 20 things you need to know (please also see our static FAQ for updated info):

  1. Badges go on sale here at 7PM on 7/7. There are approximately 1,700 badges available for the public. The rest are slated for volunteers, vendors, and panelists. Do not wait to snag your badge. Last year badges were sold out within 1 week of the con.
  2. Badges are $20 for 13+, $10 for 6-12, and free for 5 and under. Your badge gets you in both Saturday and Sunday.
  3. Badges can only be purchased from the FoCoComicCon.com website.
  4. Badges can be picked up starting 8/1 at the comic book store you chose at purchase. You will receive a reminder email.
  5. There are no vendor hours or panels on Friday – however, there is Nerd Prom and some events around town.
  6. Teen Nerd Prom requires a separate ticket. You must be 12-18 to attend. There are 250 tickets available for free here.
  7. 21+ Nerd Prom requires a separate ticket. 50 $15 tickets are available from Downtown Artery and 200 $20 tickets are available here.
  8. The 18+ Nerd Prom event is the Heroes and Villains Ball at Dungeons and Drafts.
  9. If you can’t get your hands on a badge, you can try submitting a panel or volunteering.
  10. Coming from out of town? The Best Western has a Fort Collins Comic Con rate of $99 per night for a King Room (1-2 people) and $109 per night for Doubles (2-4 people).
  11. Parking will be a problem – please plan on being picked up or dropped off, riding the Max bus, or carpooling with friends.
  12. We will have shuttles available to/from In-Situ and Odell.
  13. Our special guests will be signing autographs, taking photos with guests, and participating in panels.
  14. You can register for Sunday’s Cosplay Competition here starting at 7PM on 7/7.

  17. There will be food available at the con by way of several food trucks: The Waffle Lab, The Silver Seed, Gunter’s Bavarian Grille, Divine Ice Cream, and Dungeons and Drafts.
  18. There will probably not be an ATM, so get your cash beforehand.
  19. There will be child-friendly panels and activities and a Superhero Training Camp by the Poudre River Public Library District.
